Vehicle Motion SW Developer

Position Title: Vehicle Motion Software DeveloperDuration: Permanent or ContractLocation: Gothenburg, Sweden***This role requires you to already be on sight with a work permit in Sweden.About the Role:We're looking for a Vehicle Motion Software Developer to work on advanced Vehicle Motion Control functions within areas such as steering systems, torque vectoring, brake-by-wire and vehicle dynamics. The role includes function development, simulation, calibration, and validation of motion control features, as well as defining cross-system vehicle behaviour. You'll collaborate closely with a global engineering team to enhance performance and driving experience.Key ResponsibilitiesFunction development and validation of vehicle state estimation.Arbitration of longitudinal & lateral control in vehicles with rear-wheel steering, front-wheel steering including steer-by-wire, torque vectoring, brake systems including brake-by-wire, and functions such as vehicle slip, vehicle speed and traction control.Development and implementation of Vehicle Motion Control interface signal management.Simulation and calibration of relevant motion control functions.Implement cross-system vehicle dynamic behaviour definitions to enhance performance in function development. Qualifications & SkillsMSc in Automotive Engineering.Minimum 3 years' experience in Vehicle Dynamics software function development.Minimum 2 years' experience in model-based Motion Control development.Documented experience in Vehicle Dynamics simulation.Experience with relevant software development tools (CarSim, CarMaker, etc.)CAD (CATIA) - Viewer level.TeamCentre Automotive - Viewer.Fluent in English.Swedish B driving licence.
