System Engineer – Cyber Security

ALTEN is now looking for a System Engineer with Cyber Security expertise to join our automotive R&D team. If you have a strong technical background, thrive in a structured environment, and want to be part of shaping tomorrow’s connected vehicles, this role could be the perfect fit.Your roleAs a Cyber Security System Engineer, you will work with:Cyber Security analysis and system engineering in automotive projectsPerforming TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) and HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) activitiesCreating and maintaining documentation according to automotive standards and processesCollaborating closely with cross-functional teams to secure robust and safe system solutionsSupporting development projects with your cyber security expertise to meet both technical and regulatory requirementsYour profileWe believe you have a relevant academic background in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software/System Engineering or similar, and experience from system engineering in complex environments.To succeed in this role, you bring:Solid knowledge in Cyber Security within automotive or embedded systemsExperience with TARA/HARA methodologiesStrong skills in documentation and working according to established processesAbility to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsFluent in English (written and spoken)Meritorious experience:Previous experience from VCC (Volvo Cars) projectsKnowledge within Infotainment, Connectivity or Android-based systemsFamiliarity with automotive communication protocols and standardsWhy ALTEN?At ALTEN, you will be part of a skilled and collaborative team working at the forefront of automotive technology.
