Electromechanical Lead

Responsibilities Leadership in Electromechanical ScopeLead the design, engineering, and execution of electromechanical systems including turbines, generators, pumps, motors, and control systems.Provide strategic technical direction from feasibility studies through commissioning. Project Planning & DeliveryOversee engineering design reviews, approve technical specifications, drawings, and construction methodologies.Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electromechanical works within project schedules.Coordinate with civil and hydro-mechanical teams for integrated solutions. Technical Risk & Quality ManagementIdentify and mitigate risks related to electrical systems, hydraulic machinery, and control logic.Implement fail-safe designs, redundancy, and preventive maintenance strategies for reliability.Ensure compliance with national/international codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations. Stakeholder CoordinationAct as the primary interface with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Represent electromechanical scope in high-level meetings and technical reviews.Provide strategic input into project development and technical due diligence. Testing, Commissioning & PerformanceOversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electromechanical equipment.Validate system performance and ensure operational readiness.Drive modernization initiatives such as SCADA upgrades and efficiency improvements. Compliance & SafetyGuarantee adherence to environmental, safety, and operational standards.Develop and enforce maintenance and emergency response procedures. Team LeadershipManage multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor staff.Ensure capability building in electromechanical engineering and project execution.Qualification: BE/B Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Exp: 25 to 28 yrs of experience in the same kind of job in Hydro/PSP.QualificationsQualification: BE/B Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Exp: 25 to 28 yrs of experience in the electromechanical for Hydro/PSP projects.
