Senior Labor & Employee Relations RepresentativeLos Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)Healthcare Organization | Human Resources DivisionPAY: up to $70/hour DOE Short-Term Assignment (Approx. 12 Weeks, with Possible Extension)About the OpportunityA leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Labor & Employee Relations Representative to join its Human Resources team. This role supports both unionized and non-unionized environments, helping leaders and staff navigate complex workplace issues while fostering a culture of fairness, collaboration, and compliance.The ideal candidate will bring strong labor relations expertise, experience working with collective bargaining agreements, and the confidence to advise senior management on sensitive employee matters.Key ResponsibilitiesLead labor and employee relations activities, including investigations, grievances, and performance management.Partner with management and legal counsel to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).Represent the organization in grievance hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, workplace behavior, and policy violations.Advise leaders on employee relations strategy, documentation, and corrective action.Collaborate with HR partners on policy alignment, compliance, and workforce engagement initiatives.Facilitate training sessions for leaders and employees on labor and employee relations topics.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).3–5 years of progressive experience in employee relations and labor relations.Strong background in union environments and collective bargaining.Experience investigating and resolving workplace complaints.In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance (e.g., FMLA, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, FLSA).Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.Why JoinOpportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment that values collaboration and integrity.Gain exposure to strategic labor negotiations and cross-functional HR initiatives.Competitive hourly rate equivalent to a six-figure annualized salary.Hybrid work flexibility and supportive HR leadership team.
