About Teams Squared:We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations.Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Lawyer with at least 5 years of experience advising on employment and labor law matters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employment contracts, workplace compliance, dispute resolution, and advising on HR-related legal concerns. While experience with Australian employment law is a bonus, it is not required. This role is ideal for a globally experienced employment lawyer comfortable working remotely and across different legal systems.Responsibilities:Advise client companies on employment-related matters such as hiring, terminations, disciplinary processes, workplace policies, and internal HR procedures.Draft, review, and revise employment contracts, policies, and compliance documentation.Support clients in resolving workplace disputes, including mediations, internal investigations, and formal legal proceedings where applicable.Provide timely, business-focused legal advice across diverse employment law jurisdictions, based on the client’s location and applicable law.Conduct research and stay updated on key developments in employment law in common law jurisdictions (e.g., UK, Canada, US, Australia preferred).Collaborate with HR professionals, legal departments, and business leaders in client organizations.Work independently and communicate clearly in a remote legal services environment.RequirementsUndergraduate degree in Law and admission to practice in at least one common law jurisdiction (e.g., UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, US, South Africa).A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment/labor law practice.Demonstrated expertise in employment contract drafting, compliance, and employment dispute management.Familiarity with global or cross-border employment law is highly desirable.Strong communication, research, and legal drafting skills.Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a remote working environment.Experience with legal tech tools or document management systems is a plusBenefitsOpportunity for 100% remote work.Competitive AUD compensation package.Access to advanced legal research and practice management tools.Continuing education and professional development supportIf you are passionate about leveraging your expertise for the growth of top-tier firms and advancing your professional trajectory, apply now!Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussions.Teams Squared is an equal opportunity employer, valuing diversity and inclusivity
