About The TeamThe Engagement Growth team is a pivotal force driving the strategy and expansion of Shopee's Engagement Ecosystem, encompassing key business such as Shopee Live, Shopee Video, and Affiliate.Our Core Responsibilities IncludeIndustry Research: We stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring the evolution of the content industry, ensuring that we are always aligned with the latest trends and innovations.Competitor Analysis: By closely observing competitor strategies, we craft and implement effective counter-strategies that keep Shopee at the forefront of the market.Ecosystem Monitoring: Our team keeps a vigilant eye on Shopee's content ecosystem, focusing on both commercial performance and profit and loss (P&L) metrics to ensure sustainable growth.Strategic Initiatives: We initiate and drive strategies as well as product features on our platform aimed at maximizing content growth and penetration. Our goal is to deliver incremental commercial performance that contributes significantly to the overall success of the platform.With a deep understanding of the content landscape and a relentless focus on innovation, the Engagement Growth team is committed to enhancing Shopee's engagement platform, driving both user satisfaction and commercial success.Job DescriptionMarket Research: Conduct thorough market research to gain insights into industry trends, monitor competitor strategies, and understand market dynamics.Data-Driven Insights: Analyze internal data alongside market information to identify potential segments for growth and optimization within the content business.Strategic Initiatives: Develop and initiate strategies and projects designed to counter competitor activities and maximize Shopee's growth in the content domain.Ecosystem Monitoring: Oversee content and affiliate performance across the full funnel, ensuring visibility of results from multiple perspectives, including category, supply and buyer segments, as well as platform entry points.Data Management: Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to conceptualize and manage the construction of comprehensive analysis, trackers, and databases to support business decisions.Product Growth: Drive the end-to-end delivery of new engagement features, aligning business needs with product teams from ideation to launch. Manage all product features related to Live Video and Affiliate to ensure growth and impact.Reporting: Deliver high-level reports that cover business performance, identify key challenges, and provide strategic recommendations for decision-making.Regional Collaboration: Collaborate with Regional teams to align on reporting standards and strategic directions, ensuring consistency and coherence across markets.RequirementsBachelor's degree with 5+year experience in project management and the e-commerce industry Solid analytical and problem-solving skillsData-driven and comfortable with synthesizing insights from an extensive series of numbersStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and regions.Good team player with a can-do attitudeFluent in English & Vietnamese (verbal and written)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
