At Bouygues Construction Australia, we are dedicated to the design, construction, and delivery of nation shaping projects across civil infrastructure, engineering, and energy and services.We have proudly been working in Australia for more than 25 years.Our local experience in underpinned by significant global expertise and resourcing.About The RoleIn close support of the Environmental Management Team, the Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator will implement the requirements of the Project’s Construction Environmental Management Plan. This will require a thorough knowledge of the Construction Environmental Management Plan and its requirements, careful planning, record keeping and proactive reporting of emerging issues on site.Key ResponsabilitiesWell-developed understanding of project environmental requirementsErosion and sediment control experienceEnvironmental monitoring experience (Noise, Vibration, Water quality)A methodical approach and have a high attention to detailA proven ability to provide leadership in environmental planning and approval process;Ability to develop, nurture and maintain sound relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;Demonstrated ability to respond quickly, investigate and provide solutions to environmental issues and problems proactively as they arise.Team oriented, accountable and results drivenGood communication skills, including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externallyAbility to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced operational environment with multiple and competing demandsAbility and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and utilise new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technologyProactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables and work efficiencies including support for team membersDisplay a positive approach to safety, environmental and quality considerationsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s in environmental engineering, Science or equivalent2 years+ Experience preferably on Major Infrastructure projectsAbility to form strong relationships with multifaceted site teamsExcellent communication skillsStrong client relationship skillsIf you have any question feel free to contact byca.recruit@bouygues-construction.com
