Apply today!About Our DepartmentThe Sanitation Division is charged with the responsibility of providing garbage collection to residential and commercial solid waste customers. It is also responsible for the collection of trash and yard waste as well as bulky waste for Huntsville's residential solid waste customers.Equipment Operator III Position OverviewOperates a knuckle boom loader for collecting large amounts of solid waste; collects limbs, logs, wood, building and other materials; transports debris to landfill; loads other vehicles; may serve as a lead worker. Operates an automated refuse collection truck utilizing an automated collection arm and a standardized cart system.
