This role is based in Brussels. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY TO DAY? Support the Brussels office in designing and implementing EU public affairs and advocacy strategies. Monitoring EU regulatory issues of interest and, where applicable, measuring their social and media implications. Drafting summaries of European regulations and policies. Preparing talking points and position papers. Preparing presentations, reports, regulatory and policy analyses, advice notes, etc. Developing relationship strategies and implementing institutional positioning and lobbying plans with the client. Updating databases of clients, politicians, and other relevant stakeholders. Managing client meetings with relevant decision-makers, preparing profiles of the interlocutors and other support materials for the meetings. Providing support in other areas of the department. Event organising support. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR   We are seeking a professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in EU public affairs with prior experience in consulting and in EU institutions who also: Has proven policy and legislative monitoring skills at EU level. Has detailed  knowledge of EU legislative procedures and the political landscape of the EU. Is able to generate solid relationships with different stakeholders. Has a dynamic, versatile profile and a high commitment to excellence and problem-solving ability. Is interested in society and possesses intellectual curiosity. Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent level of text drafting and presentation skills. Shows initiative, creativity, and drive to carry out different projects. Has a clear client orientation and attention to detail. Demonstrates capacity for teamwork. Has previous experience performing similar functions. ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS Postgraduate degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, or similar. Previous experience in agencies, consulting, or EU institutions. Interest in the political, business, and lobbying fields. Bilingual level of Spanish and English.  Additional languages are welcome.
