Job informationDivision/Unit: UEFA Events SA/ CEO OfficeContract type: Max termStart date: 01.02.2026End date: 31.07.2028Application deadline: 09.12.2025Main goalThe Volunteer Management project is dedicated to developing, planning and delivering a world-class volunteer programme across the UK and Ireland for UEFA EURO 2028 and helping to provide the different UEFA projects with the right number of volunteers to support tournament operations.Our focus is on recruiting the right number of motivated, well-informed and energetic volunteers for suitable roles, ensuring they embody the tournament’s values and can commit the necessary time. The programme aims to provide unique and memorable experiences to a diverse range of participants, including experienced volunteers and first-time recruits.It is essential to create an engaging, enjoyable, innovative and safe volunteer programme, as volunteers will be at the heart of the tournament, recognised by fans as the face of the event and remembered for years to come.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneralRolling out the overall UEFA volunteer management strategy, delivering a successful volunteer programme, and conducting volunteer needs assessments to provide consolidated outcomes.Managing the UEFA Volunteer Community website and creating promotional publications, while ensuring all volunteer support services (gifts, uniforms, catering, transport, equipment and signage) are fully implemented according to expected standards.Supporting the use of the Rosterfy system, facilitating cooperation between UEFA ICT and UK&I 2028, and delivering and implementing the volunteer programme on-site.UEFA EURO 2028Supporting and collaborating with the UK&I 2028 volunteer management team and UEFA projects, assisting in the promotion of the volunteer programme and sharing best practices, tools and brand assets. Ensuring the successful recruitment, training and operational implementation of the volunteer programme by monitoring campaign progress, providing training content and guidance, collecting role-specific needs and escalating risks when necessary. Contributing to the event’s final debriefing and guiding the UK&I 2028 volunteer management team in organising volunteer recognition activities, including a thank-you event.
