Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands and a bustling CBD.The roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic Events Officer to plan, coordinate, and deliver a fantastic lineup of events across the North Sydney Local Government Area.You’ll be at the heart of the action — helping to bring to life everything from lively street festivals and community markets at The Coal Loader to important Citizenship and Award Ceremonies. Working closely with Council teams and community partners, you’ll manage every detail, making sure events run smoothly and leave everyone with a smile.This role is perfect if you’re organized, love juggling logistics, and enjoy working with lots of different people. You’ll be managing stakeholder relationships, keeping an eye on risk assessments, and collaborating across teams to create events that celebrate culture, creativity, and connection.From dreaming up event ideas to wrapping up with a post-event review, you’ll be involved in every step of the journey — making sure North Sydney’s events are nothing short of spectacular.The personYou’re a natural organiser with a passion for people and a knack for turning ideas into amazing experiences.
