This pivotal role is integral to the Office of the CEO, ensuring seamless management of an intense and dynamic schedule, stakeholder relationships, and global commitments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to anticipate needs proactively. This role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Executive Assistant II will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, facilitating efficient communication, logistics, and operational support to enable the CEO to focus on strategic priorities. The position is based in San Francisco, with the expectation of regular in-office presence, and may involve travel up to 15% nationally and occasionally internationally. The role demands 24/7 availability during travel periods to respond to urgent needs and support the CEO’s commitments worldwide.QualificationsMinimum of 10+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, with at least 5+ years supporting a Founder or CEO, preferably in a public company or high-growth environment.Proven ability to manage complex and dynamic calendars with precision and tact.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with senior executives and high-profile stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.Experience in managing personal and professional logistics, including travel arrangements and confidential information.Tech-savvy with proficiency in G Suite, Slack, Zoom, expense management tools, and confidence in leveraging AI and new technologies.Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in ambiguity.Demonstrated resilience and composure in high-pressure situations.Previous experience supporting high-profile, public-facing executives in industries such as technology, media, finance, or startups.Residency within reasonable distance to San Francisco for regular in-office engagement.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-touch, comprehensive support to the CEO, anticipating needs and proactively managing their schedule and commitments.Manage an active and complex calendar, prioritizing conflicts and optimizing time for business and personal engagements.Coordinate international and domestic travel logistics, including complex itineraries.Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and relevant documents to ensure the CEO is fully prepared for meetings.Streamline high-volume communications across multiple channels, ensuring timely responses and follow-up.Serve as a liaison with the CEO’s personal and professional network, fostering strategic relationships.Partner with the Chief of Staff to manage inbound and outbound requests, special projects, press appearances, and speaking engagements.Assist with operational tasks, including expense reports, approvals, document sign-offs, and reimbursements.Attend and facilitate executive team meetings, ensuring all logistics and meeting spaces are prepared for optimal performance.Coordinate with other executive assistants to ensure operational alignment across the C-suite.Support the CEO during travel, including being available 24/7 for urgent needs.BenefitsComprehensive health care coverage, with Affirm covering all premiums for you and your dependents.Flexible Spending Wallets provide stipends for technology, food, lifestyle needs, and family expenses.Generous vacation and holiday schedules to promote work-life balance.Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) allows employees to buy Affirm shares at a discount.Remote-first work environment with flexibility to work from almost anywhere within the country.Opportunities for professional growth and development within a forward-thinking organization.Equal OpportunityAffirm is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
