Support a senior executive within Rio Tinto, and contribute to the success of Rio Tinto ProjectsJoin the collaborative and supportive major projects communityPermanent, Full-time Perth based roleAbout The RoleWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to join Rio Tinto Projects, supporting a Senior Executive within the business.You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, helping to manage time, priorities, and information flow. You’ll be a trusted partner; someone who can anticipate needs, provide feedback, and ensure priorities are actioned and followed through.Your responsibilities will includeManaging calendars, travel, meetings, and correspondence with a high level of confidentiality and professionalismActing as a gatekeeper and time manager, ensuring the right focus is placed on the right prioritiesSupporting monthly reporting, cost centre management, and internal communicationsWorking closely with the Safe Production Systems (SPS) team to maintain central routines and calendarsHelping to streamline information management across SharePoint and internal platformsRaising and tracking service requests (e.g. ServiceNow), purchase orders (SAP), and other admin processesSupporting the rhythm of the business, ensuring cadences are clear and well-supportedWhat We’re Looking ForExperienced in supporting senior executives in complex, fast-paced environmentsDiplomatic and solutions-focused, with strong judgement and the confidence to provide feedbackOrganised and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and ability to manage competing prioritiesTech-savvy, with working knowledge of SharePoint, SAP, and Microsoft 365Collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in helping others succeedAbout Rio TintoRio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
