We are committed to advancing child health through education, policy, and community engagement.🧭 Position OverviewMDAAP is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director (ED) to lead the Chapter’s operations, strategic initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. The ED will be the driving force behind making MDAAP a vital, reputable, and “go-to” organization for pediatric issues in Maryland.This is a part-time exempt position requiring the equivalent of three (3) working days per week.🎯 Key ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of MDAAP’s operations and management.Governance Support: Collaborate with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to support leadership functions, policy development, and strategic planning.Membership & Communication: Maintain and grow chapter membership; facilitate communication with officers, committees, and external partners.Financial Oversight: Manage the Chapter’s financial affairs, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.Grants & Contracts: Lead the development and administration of grant and contract applications and related activities.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with government officials, community pediatricians, and other key stakeholders.Ex-Officio Role: Serve as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee 🤝 Ideal CandidateBachelor’s degree required, advanced degrees strongly encouragedProven leadership experience in nonprofit or healthcare organizationsStrong organizational, financial, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersPassion for child health and advocacy📬 How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter detailing their qualifications and vision for MDAAP to Monique Soileau-Burke, MD, FAAP, at soileauburke@yahoo.com by December 31st, 2025.
