Why this role mattersYour role as the designated Compliance Officer and MLRO for Thecorio Limited, based in Seychelles, will involve ensuring compliance with the applicable Laws and Regulations. What you'll actually doEnsure the ongoing compliance of the Company with its licensing conditions, as applicable. Monitor, assess and advise on the Company’s compliance with the regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory reporting obligations. Act as the point of contact with the Regulator and other relevant authorities (e. g. FIU). Monitor the regulatory developments and update the Board.

Provide compliance reports to the Board of Directors and the Regulator. Put in place adequate policies, procedures and controls designed to minimise the compliance risk. Evaluate and advise on the suitability of the internal controls in mitigating the compliance risk. Assist in the prompt and fair handling of complaints. Review and advise on the Company’s promotional, marketing and advertising activities and changes to the business and operational activities (e. g. services, products). Promptly submit reports on suspicious transactions, suspicious activity reports, or other types of reports in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Act as an internal point of contact to receive reports from employees in relation to suspicious reports. Address employees' questions and provide advice on compliance matters. Who We’re Looking ForHolder of a University degree in a related fieldMinimum 2 years of relevant compliance experience, ideally within the Contracts for Difference (CFD) industry, Investment Business, or a similar financial services sectorFluent in the English language, both verbal and written. Any additional language might be considered a plusDemonstrates strong business acumen with the ability to drive value and make sound decisions. Possesses excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Skilled in preparing and delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Displays flexibility, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership in all tasks. Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all levels.
