Job title Export Business Manager (B2B) — MENA ↔ ItalyLocation Remote (Italy / MENA) — frequent travel between Italy and MENA marketsType Freelance | Part-time → Full-time (negotiable) — commission & bonus structureAbout usHalal Expo Italy organises trade & cultural platforms connecting Italian SMEs and MENA businesses across halal food, modest fashion, cosmetics, tourism and fintech. We’re building a practical pipeline of exhibitors, sponsors and buyers.Role summaryYou will originate, qualify and close B2B partnerships: recruit exhibitors and sponsors from MENA to attend/partner in Italy and onboard Italian exporters into MENA markets. You’re a hunter & relationship-builder with experience in export, trade shows and cross-cultural negotiation.Key responsibilitiesProspect, contact and sign up 50+ target companies (MENA & Italy) per cycle for events/market-entry programs.Build and manage a pipeline (CRM) of leads: distributors, importers, buyers, certifiers, halal bodies.Create tailored commercial offers (stand + services + matchmaking) and close contracts.Coordinate market-entry support: logistics, customs, halal certification advice, local partners.Run outreach campaigns on LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp & trade platforms; organize B2B meetings.Represent the organisation at trade fairs, roadshows and investor/sponsor meetings.Liaise with marketing to create region-specific collateral and landing pages in EN/AR/IT.Track KPIs, prepare weekly reports, forecast revenue.Must-have skills & experience3+ years in export/business development B2B (trade fairs, distribution, sourcing).Proven network in MENA business community (food, FMCG, halal, fashion, tourism or fintech).Fluent English + Arabic or Italian + good Arabic/English.Experience selling exhibition packages, sponsorships or B2B services.CRM savvy (HubSpot/Pipedrive/Zoho), comfortable with outreach tools.Ability to travel and work flexible hours.Nice-to-haveKnowledge of halal certification / Islamic finance basics.Experience in trade facilitation, customs, logistics.Local contacts in Turkey, UAE, Saudi, Morocco, Egypt, Qatar, Algeria, Tunisia.KPIs (first 6 months)Onboard 20 paying exhibitors from MENA to Italy event / 15 Italian exporters to MENA program.Generate €50k+ in contracted revenue (exhibitors + sponsors) — target flexible by seniority.Create a qualified list of 400+ vetted B2B leads.Organize 30 confirmed B2B meetings at the event.CompensationBase (negotiable) + commission on closed sales + bonuses on KPIs. Freelance/agency proposals accepted.
