Job SummaryThe General Manager (GM) of Sales Export will be responsible for driving S. Khon Kaen’s international sales growth, focusing on expanding our market share in target regions globally. This senior leadership role involves strategic oversight of the export sales department, managing a team of professionals, and developing long-term business relationships with international distributors, partners, and customers. The GM will also work closely with the senior management team to develop and execute the company’s export strategy, ensuring alignment with S. Khon Kaen’s corporate goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy DevelopmentDevelop and implement the export sales strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives.Identify new international markets and business opportunities, focusing on emerging markets.Develop long-term strategic plans to grow the company’s export business, increase profitability, and diversify into new regions.Team Leadership & ManagementLead, motivate, and manage the export sales team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.Recruit, train, and develop the export sales team to ensure high performance.Provide regular performance reviews, coaching, and feedback to team members.Business Development & Market ExpansionIdentify and establish relationships with key international distributors, agents, and strategic partners.Represent S. Khon Kaen at international trade shows, conferences, and meetings to promote the company’s products.Drive new business opportunities and revenue streams across multiple regions.Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key international clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.Oversee the management of international accounts, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any concerns.Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.Financial ManagementDevelop and manage the export sales budget and ensure adherence to financial targets.Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.Optimize pricing and cost structures to ensure competitive advantage and profitability.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with the marketing, logistics, production, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations across departments.Provide feedback to the product development team on market demands and trends.Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and import/export requirements in target regions.Market Analysis & ReportingAnalyze international market conditions and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.At least 5 years of experience in international sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a food manufacturing or export-driven company.Proven track record of success in growing export sales in international markets.Strong understanding of international trade laws, logistics, and financial management in a global context.
