OverviewExternal Manufacturing SchedulerBudapest, Hungary | Hybrid Role | Celanese CorporationLaunch Your Supply Chain Career with a Global Chemical LeaderAt Celanese, a global leader in specialty materials and chemical solutions, we're seeking a talented External Manufacturing Scheduler to support our external manufacturing operations and contribute to our supply chain excellence across Europe.Role Impact: As an External Manufacturing Scheduler, you'll support the development of production plans and material requirements for our toll manufacturing network. You'll work with cross-functional teams to execute production scheduling, monitor performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities What You'll Do Production Planning: Support the development of production schedules and raw material requirements for external manufacturing partners based on master supply plans Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze scheduling metrics, assist with root cause analysis, and report on toller schedule performance Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with supply planners, procurement, logistics, and customer service to execute production schedules and address supply issues Inventory Management: Process stock transfer requisitions and orders to position products across warehouses, tolling plants, and customer locations Data Maintenance: Update and maintain scheduling master data in SAP and Blue Yonder planning systems KPI Tracking: Monitor inventory performance against targets and assist in reporting key metrics Stakeholder Communication: Build relationships with tolling partners and internal teams to support daily operations and resolve routine supply challenges QualificationsWhat You Bring 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or supply chain planning with exposure to scheduling processes Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and identify basic trends Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills with fluency in both German and English Team-oriented approach with willingness to learn and grow Adaptable mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities What We Offer Flexible hybrid work model (2 days office/3 days remote) Health insurance and generous cafeteria benefits Global career opportunities across subject matter experts and leadership paths Structured onboarding and continuous professional development Celanese is an equal opportunity employer.
