Join our dynamic team at Celanese Budapest and help drive excellence in our global supply chain network!Role OverviewAs an External Manufacturing Scheduler Specialist at Celanese, you'll lead the development of sophisticated production plans and material requirements for our toll manufacturing network. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production scheduling, analyze performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact our business results.Responsibilities What You'll Do Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive production schedules and raw material requirements for external manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment with master supply plans and business objectives Advanced Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of scheduling metrics, lead root cause investigations, and implement process improvements to enhance toller performance Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between supply planning, procurement, logistics, and external manufacturing partners to optimize production scheduling Inventory Optimization: Strategically position products across multiple locations through stock transfer management while maintaining optimal inventory levels Performance Management: Develop and track KPIs, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to achieve inventory and service level targets System Expertise: Maintain and optimize scheduling master data in SAP and Blue Yonder, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with tolling partners to drive continuous improvement and resolve complex supply challenges Qualifications What You'll Bring 3-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations and/or supply chain planning with specific expertise in finite scheduling Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel, with experience in planning systems Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement process improvements Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions Strong communication skills with fluency in both German and English Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and with external partners Resilient mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment What We Offer Flexible hybrid work model (2 days office/3 days remote) Comprehensive health insurance and generous cafeteria benefits Global career advancement opportunities across technical and leadership paths Structured onboarding and continuous professional development Work in our exceptional green office environment in Budapest Be part of a diverse, inclusive community focused on innovation and excellence Celanese is an equal opportunity employer.
