Family Assistant/Nanny

Verbind Partners is representing an active family in North Sydney who are seeking an experienced family assistan/nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a live-out position, supporting three children aged 4, 8, and 9 years old.The role goes beyond childcare, requiring someone confident in both nanny duties and light household/PA responsibilities, ensuring the home runs smoothly day to day. You will be working alongside a full time housekeeper. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to balance the needs of the children with household management tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide attentive care and supervision for three children aged 4, 8, and 9, supporting daily routines, after-school schedules, and extracurricular activitiesEngage the children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activitiesAssist with schoolwork and foster a positive, nurturing environmentCoordinate household shopping, errands, and returns as neededAssist with cleaning, errands and light cookingAssist with household organisation and administrationEnsuring children’s belongings and spaces are tidy and organizedAccompany the family on international travel as requiredProvide flexibility to adapt to changing schedules in a fast-paced, active householdRequirementsMinimum 4 years’ experience as a Nanny or family assistant in private householdsDemonstrated experience working with multiple children in similar age groupsStrong organisational and multitasking skillsAbility to manage both childcare and household responsibilitiesEnergetic, adaptable, and able to match an active family lifestyleValid driver’s licence (car provided during working hours if required)
