In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of family law matters. Our client-centric approach and commitment to excellence make this an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and contribute to the success of our growing practice.What You'll Be DoingAdvising clients on matters related to divorce, separation, parenting, child support, property settlement and other family law issuesPreparing and reviewing legal documents such as divorce applications, parenting and financial agreements, and Court documentsRepresenting clients in court proceedings, including mediation, negotiation, and litigationConducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case lawCollaborating with other legal professionals, such as barristers and expert witnesses, to achieve the best possible outcomes for clientsProviding exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationshipsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years of experience as a Family Law Solicitor, with a strong understanding of family law principles and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise mannerStrong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, with a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clientsProficient in legal research, analysis, and the preparation of legal documentsA commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceeding client expectationsExcellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlinesWhat We OfferAt SCB Legal, we value our employees and strive to create a supportive and rewarding work environment.
