Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Service Operations ManagerField Service Technician (80–100%)About The Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to perform service tasks according to work instructions and in compliance with ABB's quality and safety guidelines. You will deliver high-quality customer service daily, plan and execute service work based on customer orders and expectations, and demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication of timelines and service expectations.Work model: Field serviceBusiness area: Electrification, Service Switzerland-wideLocation options: Baden, Morges, or ZuzwilYour Main ResponsibilitiesPerform technical tasks at customer sites in the medium- and low-voltage sectorEnsure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets in collaboration with the service project management and field service leadershipCommunicate necessary changes according to quality assurance standards, comply with work instructions, regulations, and safety standards, and submit time reports and expensesInform customers about the service offerings of ELSE and ABB Switzerland AG and support the acquisition of additional service ordersYour QualificationsCompleted training as an electrician or automation technician with several years of professional experience, ideally with additional knowledge in copper construction and mechanical processingSolid expertise in electrical and automation technology, as well as experience operating mechanical equipmentStrong process affinity and a structured approach to working within defined workflowsExcellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly and customer-orientedHigh level of quality awareness, personal responsibility, flexibility, and resilienceProficient in MS Office; willingness to travel extensively and participate in on-call duties across SwitzerlandFluent in German, basic English skills (French is a plus); valid Swiss category B driver’s licenseWhat We OfferWe want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
