Fiber Optic Designer - Lead Desidner

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in planning, designing, and implementing high-performance fiber optic solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Design fiber optic networks (FTTH/FTTB FTTs, backbone, and access networks) using CAD/GIS software. * Create and maintain design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and BOMs. * Collaborate with engineering, field teams, and clients to ensure feasibility and compliance. * Analyze site surveys and data to plan optimal routing. * Ensure designs meet industry standards and local regulations. Requirements: * Proven experience in fiber optic network design (3+ years preferred). * Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS). * Strong understanding of FTTx architecture and fiber types. * Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Nice to Have: * Knowledge of permitting processes and utility coordination. * Experience with project management tools. * Certifications in fiber optics or telecom design (e.g., FOA, CFOT).
