Position OverviewJob Title: FIC ICG Turkey Coverage Corporate Title: Analyst/AssociateLocation: Istanbul, TurkiyeOverview [Business/Role Specific Description]Turkey coverage role based in Istanbul will require you to originate structured financing transactions in a client facing role for the Investment Bank FIC ICG Turkey sales team. You will be part of the private side of the business with a revenue generating target, working with origination, trading, structuring, controlling bodies within the bank, and operations staff to ensure you provide front-to back coverage for our clients. You are expected to liaise and support the client in account related activities through your strong understanding of the roles, responsibilities and processes that are pertinent to the client’s interaction with the Bank. Your role requires you to have extensive knowledge of markets flow products and various liability products such as bonds, structured loans, project finance loans and equity linked financings. You are required to analyze client and market data, create presentation material, and facilitate interactions with new and existing clients to allow the Sales team to make efficient use of sales opportunities. In addition, you will work to ensure adherence to all applicable DB Global, divisional and local internal policies and procedures as well as external legal/regulatory frameworks. You are expected to adhere to necessary requirements set by regulators and adhere to the KYC policies to facilitate business.What We Offer You:The Deutsche Bank ICG Turkiye Coverage team is looking to add a Analyst/Associate salesperson in Istanbul. You will be engaging directly with corporate clients to originate structured financing transactions. As a global bank the role will entail daily interactions with various different internal and external stakeholders and require extensive knowledge of fixed income and currencies products with particular focus on structured financings.Your Key Responsibilities:Be responsible for origination and execution of structured financing transactions jointly with DB Group trading and structuring teams,Coordinate with other team members on possible cross-sell opportunitiesEngage with internal and external stakeholders,Follow market developments, regulatory announcements, and economic data calendars closely, prepare timely updates and executive summaries to the team,Provide meaningful research, put together product books and presentations,Handling all KYC related activities for existing clients which need to be remediated and also for new clients which require enhanced diligence.Your Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related disciplines,Strong knowledge of fixed income and currencies products, project finance loans, structured loansAnalyze financial reports and modelsFamiliarity and understanding of macro-economic and market dynamics,5+ years of experience in finance, markets and relationship management positions,Strong analytical/interpersonal skills, stellar communication skills,Advanced level spoken and written English and Turkish, any other foreign language is a plus,Strong Microsoft office skills, BloombergHow You’ll Lead (VP and above):You are expected to manage mandated transactions with internal stakeholders trading, structuring and engaging closely with Infrastructure Teams likeLegal, AFC, Compliance, Sanctions&Embargos, CLM, CRM TeamsYou are expected to coordinate and provide training to intern and juniors on the team and assign necessary tasks to enable Sales team to originate transactions.We strive for a culture in which we are empowered to excel together every day.
