Field Application Scientist

Position SummaryWe are looking for Field Application Scientist (FAS) to serve as a primary technical field contact for our customers in Asia Pacific region. The FAS will function as a liaison between the customer and the company. In this capacity he/ she is responsible for the pre- and post-sales onsite technical support and market development activities for products/services including protein expression, antibody discovery on and protein analysis.Role & ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales SupportPartnering with sales to understand customer needsDelivering technical presentations, product demos, seminars, and webinarsEvaluating customer requirements and proposing tailored solutionsScientific & Technical ExpertiseStaying updated with research trends, competitor products, and new technologiesActing as subject-matter experts bridging R&D, production, PM, sales, and customersProviding valuable customer feedback to R&D and product development teamsCollaboration with Sales & MarketingDeveloping application notes, white papers, and case studiesRepresenting GenScript at conferences, exhibitions, and workshopsTraining & Internal EnablementTraining sales teams and distributors on product features and value propositionsCreating training materials, FAQs, and technical documentationQualificationsMS or PhD in biologics-related fields (e.g., molecular biology, protein sciences, antibody production, or immunology).Experience in antibody discovery, protein production, mRNA, or immunotherapy is preferred.Prior experience in technical/customer support, sales, marketing, or scientific presentations is advantageous.Fluent English (written and verbal) is essential (TOEIC 700+).Proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a plus.#LI-Remote
