Field Collections Officer – Buy Now Pay Later

Job Summary:Salary: 70k basic, 20k Transport Allowance and 50k KPI-based (140k Total)The Field Collector is responsible for visiting customers in person to recover outstanding payments or company property, ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional customer service during the collection process.Key Responsibilities:Contact customers via phone, email, SMS, and in-person visits to follow up on outstanding paymentsNegotiate and establish payment arrangements in line with company policiesProvide customers with accurate information regarding their account status and available payment optionsMaintain and update customer records with relevant payment details, visit notes, and communication logsEnsure all collection activities comply with company collection policies, legal requirements, and financial regulationsHandle customer complaints and disputes professionally and escalate cases when necessaryPlan and manage daily visit routes to maximize efficiencyRecover company property (e.g., mobile devices) when payment is not made, following proper proceduresReport field collection results and progress to supervisors regularlyRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in collections or customer service is an advantageProven experience in debt collection, field collections, or related customer-facing rolesStrong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyFamiliarity with local laws and regulations related to debt recovery is preferredWillingness to travel frequently within the assigned regionWorking Conditions:Field-based role requiring daily customer visitsMay involve travel to remote or urban locationsFlexible working hours, including evenings or weekends if necessaryPowered by JazzHRjnxJpbM495
