We hire people who stay agile as the tide ebbs and flows, fix what’s broken without waiting, chase trends before they peak, and remember to have fun through it all.What We're Looking ForRain is looking for a Finance Analyst, in this role, you’ll work closely with our finance team to help streamline and manage our finance initiatives.What You'll DoAnalyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements to identify trends and insights. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reportingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controlsAssist with ad hoc financial projects and data-driven decision-making initiatives Synthesize complex financial analysis into easily digestible and actionable communications for our partners to support decision-makingDevelop and maintain accounting policies and procedural documentationWhat You Will Bring To RainBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standardsProficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)Background in cost accounting or financial risk managementProven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong analytical skills and team playerDesirable but not mandatory:Blockchain and Crypto Accounting experienceProfessional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plusBenefitsOur team works hard, so we make sure our benefits do too.
