About the RoleWe are looking for a high-caliber Financial Business Partner to support our global business expansion. This role works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making, investment analysis, business performance management, and cost optimization across global mining operations.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Decision Support & Financial ModelingPartner with leadership to support global business strategy planning and review.Lead feasibility studies for new markets and new products, including IRR, NPV and payback analysis.Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support investment decisions.Drive annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecasts to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Translate business insights into financial impact (revenue, margin, cash flow) and deliver actionable recommendations.2. Business Performance Analysis & KPI ManagementDevelop and refine core business KPIs (e.g., cost per TH, mining efficiency, global site profitability).Produce regular business performance reports and deep-dive analysis of variance drivers.Identify financial risks and performance gaps; provide forward-looking insights to support growth.3. Asset & Cost Lifecycle ManagementBuild end-to-end lifecycle models for key assets—from procurement to deployment, operations, and retirement.Lead global cost optimization initiatives such as energy cost management and efficiency improvement.Work with operations teams to optimize business processes, improve productivity, and enhance resource utilization.4. Risk Management & Compliance SupportIdentify financial and operational risks across global sites and propose mitigation strategies.Work with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.5. Team & System BuildingOpportunity to build and lead the Finance BP function from the ground up.Work closely with business teams to enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities.RequirementsMust-Have QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.Professional certifications such as CPA / CMA / ACCA are a strong advantage.5–8 years of hands-on finance experience, including at least 3 years as a Finance BP in:large internet companies (e.g., Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent), ortop-tier hardware/manufacturing companies (e.g., CATL, Intel).Proven experience in full-cycle financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis for asset-heavy businesses.Technical SkillsStrong command of financial modeling and analytical tools (Excel required; SQL/Tableau/Power BI a big plus).Deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, and ability to connect them with business drivers.Soft SkillsStrong business curiosity and willingness to understand mining technology and industry dynamics.Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and operational teams.Strong problem-solving ability and composure under pressure.Nice-to-HaveExperience in crypto, blockchain, data centers, semiconductors, or commodities.Experience supporting global markets (US, Europe, Central Asia, etc.).Passionate about crypto, with an understanding of DeFi/Web3 economic models.
