Our team of over 40 practitioners bring expertise from diverse backgrounds across architecture, interior design, finance, development, urbanism, marketing and publishing. With the upcoming retirement of our Financial Controller, Andrew Coates, at the end of March 2026, Fieldwork is advertising for a new Finance Manager to leverage the strong foundation which Andrew has built and help drive the next phase of growth for the business. The RoleWorking closely with the Directors and Management Team, you will ensure the commercial success of the practice through the strategy, planning, execution and management of the following responsibilities: Prepares annual budgetPrepares monthly finance report and chairs monthly finance meetingPrepares and manages cash flow budgetingManages and updates revenue forecast model and reports on budget v actualPrepares and issues invoicingIdentifies risk and advises how to mitigateManages project management system BQE CoreManages monthly WIP reporting and project P&L reportsPrepares subconsultant contractsManages subconsultant budgets and progress claimsLiaising with external accountants and lawyersEnsuring operational excellenceReview of the payroll, accounts payable and debtor collection (managed by Accountant)Supporting new business activitiesParticipating in the entrepreneurial ventures of FieldworkEnhancement of existing systemsThe successful candidateThe individual will be CA /or CPA qualified with at least 5 years post qualification experience. Experience operating as Senior Project Accountant and/or Finance Manager in an architecture, engineering or construction firm is required.
