Finance Manager – Payments & AdministrationLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEAre you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for setting up robust processes and driving efficiency? We’re seeking a Finance Manager – Payments & Administration to establish and lead the finance functions of a newly established UAE (Abu Dhabi) head office.This is a hands-on role with exciting opportunities for growth as the office expands. You will play a pivotal role in managing payments, bookkeeping, and financial administration, shaping the way our head office operates and setting up systems from the ground up.Key Responsibilities: Finance Function SetupEstablish UAE head office payments operations, including system configuration, internal control procedures, and SOP documentation.Serve as the principal point of contact for payments across UAE entities.Payments ManagementManage accounts payable processes, including preparing and processing payment runs, ensuring approvals, and maintaining supplier records.Submit and monitor payments via UAE banking systems, maintaining accurate records of all disbursements.Bookkeeping & ReportingMaintain accounting records, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger management in XERO.Prepare monthly management accounts and provide cost analysis for the head office.Support annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors.Finance AdministrationManage finance administration, including document filing, regulatory filings, and liaison with local service providers.Maintain organized archives of resolutions, contracts, approvals, and supporting documentation for UAE entities.Team DevelopmentRecruit and manage a support team as head office activity increases.Define roles and processes for junior finance team members.Requirements: Essential:5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles covering accounts payable, bookkeeping, and financial administration.Experience managing finance processes for holding or head office entities.Proficiency in XERO; knowledge of Odoo is a plus.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high standards of accuracy.Comfortable working independently and setting up systems from scratch.Desirable:Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and banking operations.Experience with international holding structures or corporate services providers.Previous experience in a fast-paced or start-up environment.Growth Opportunity: This role is designed for long-term growth into a broader leadership position overseeing payments and administration for the group.
