Location: Apata, IbadanEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: 350,000 - 400,000 MonthlyExperience Level: Minimum of 8 YearsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial leadership, analytical expertise, and strategic foresight to ensure the company's financial stability, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.This role requires a results-driven professional with a proven track record in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & AnalysisDevelop and implement short- and long-term financial strategies in line with the organizations objectives. Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts to support business goals. Conduct financial analysis, interpret results, and provide recommendations to enhance performance. 2. Financial Reporting & CompliancePrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations (FIRS, LIRS), and audit requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to financial standards. 3. Financial Operations ManagementOversee daily accounting operations including reconciliations, payroll, and expense management. Ensure robust internal controls, proper documentation, and accurate financial record-keeping. Supervise and mentor finance team members, promoting accountability and professional growth. 4. Strategic Financial AdvisoryProvide data-driven financial insights to support executive decision-making. Drive initiatives for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement. Identify and manage financial risks while supporting business expansion and investment opportunities. 5. Treasury & Investment ManagementManage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to sustain smooth operations. Evaluate investment opportunities and optimize fund allocation for maximum returns. Oversee bank relationships and ensure efficient treasury management. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting roles. ICAN certification is mandatory. Additional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA will be an advantage. Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Tally ERP, or SAP. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
