Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include, besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa, Middle-East and India, and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance, but also Human Resources.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Opportunity: Join Our Finance Hub in Lisbon Air Liquide is reinforcing its strategic capabilities in Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda (Portugal), and we are continually looking for talented and diverse Finance Professionals to join us. This is an evergreen requisition, meaning we are accepting applications for multiple potential roles across various finance functions, including, but not limited to: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable), Internal Control, Audit, Treasury, and Business Controlling. Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves): Education: A university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Experience: Relevant professional experience in a core finance function (e.g., Accounting, FP&A, Audit, Treasury, Controlling). We encourage candidates at all levels of experience to apply. Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration. Additional proficiency in Portuguese, French, or Spanish is a significant advantage. Technical Skills: Proven competence with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desired. Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, impeccable attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. Preferred/Desired Qualifications (Wants): Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CMA). Experience working within a Global Business Service (GBS) or a global, matrixed organization. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and experience with finance digitalization projects.
