Financial Analyst – 10-Month Hybrid Contract (Toronto)Industry: Healthcare & Research | Hybrid: 2 Days OnsiteOur client, a leading organization in the healthcare and research sector, is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 10-month hybrid contract based in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone with strong cash management experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work with large data sets in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will support cash operations, bank reconciliations, cash application activities, financial reporting, and analysis across multiple complex bank accounts and currencies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cash management activities across multiple bank accounts.Complete cash applications accurately and timely, ensuring proper allocation and documentation.Prepare and analyze complex bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.Work with large volumes of financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.Support multi-currency transactions, tracking FX impacts as needed.Prepare and post journal entries related to cash movements and treasury activities.Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, including variance analysis and cash flow insights.Contribute to cash forecasting and provide analysis to management.Support internal and external audits with required documentation.Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation efforts within cash operations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.2–3 years of experience in cash management, cash applications, bank reconciliations, or financial analysis.Strong experience working with large data sets and multi-currency transactions.Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas; macros an asset).Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Ability to work hybrid (2 days onsite per week in Toronto).To Apply📧 Navneet Kaur – nkaur@ifgpr.comVisit www.ifg-global.com for more opportunities.
