Remote, work from home in the United States Why this job is exciting The Financial Analyst is a self-starter who excels at digging into raw data and turning it into insights that drive decisions. This role requires the ability to extract and structure data (from the GL and other systems), build and maintain data models, frame efficient analyses, and clearly communicate results across multiple mediums — Excel, PowerPoint, Word, email, and verbal.Who You AreWe are looking for a proactive and intellectually curious individual who independently drives work forward by analyzing data and trends to uncover insights. They should also excel in collaboration, effectively balancing accountability and teamwork in a high-pressure environment.The Financial Analyst is expected to be proactive and results-focused — driving work across the finish line with urgency and discipline — while collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure Finance is a trusted partner across the business. You know how to:  Data & AnalysisExtract, clean, and structure raw GL and operational data.Build and maintain data models to efficiently utilize data for forecasting and solving business challenges, including building 3-statement and 13-week cash flow models from the ground up, using raw GL transactional data. Develop efficient, usable analyses and ensure accuracy across all deliverables.Financial Reporting & InsightPrepare monthly reporting packages with variance analysis and structured and insightful commentary.Support MD&A development by framing issues and trends clearly.Deliver ad hoc analysis to address emerging business questions.Planning, Budgeting & ForecastingContribute to annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow models.Validate and align cross-functional inputs with business goals.Support scenario planning and forecast sensitivity analysis.CommunicationPresent findings clearly in written, visual, and verbal formats.Tailor communication to executives, managers, and peers.Qualifications1–3 years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analyst experience.Corporate FP&A or lender analyst background strongly preferred.Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, scenario analysis); Power Query a plus.ERP/PSA experience (Sage Intacct, ConnectWise, NetSuite, etc.) preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
