Title: Director of FP&A/FinanceCompany: Global, Public, Manufacturing CompanyLocation: Downtown Chicago, Loop AreaHybrid: 3-days in-office, 2-days remoteCompensation: $165,000-$190,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus + Equity Eligibility + Full Benefits Package (M/D/V/L/401k)About:A global, publicly-traded manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Finance/FP&A to lead corporate FP&A, financial reporting, and post acquisition integration activities. This role supports senior leadership, drives operational visibility, and owns consolidation and forecasting for multiple business units. It is one of the most exciting opportunities to scale an entire Finance department with the backing and resources of a proven, tenured, billion-dollar leader in the manufacturing space.Role Responsibilities:Lead the full budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning cycles for corporate and business unit leadership.Own the creation, consolidation, and delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting packages, ensuring accuracy across revenue, margin, headcount, and cash flow.Drive standardization of FP&A processes and improve cost and consolidation workflows that currently vary by plant and acquired entity.Lead financial workstreams for M&A diligence, onboarding, reporting alignment, and post close clean up.Partner closely with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to analyze capacity, cost drivers, inventory impacts, and operational KPIs.Build and maintain performance dashboards, variance models, and automated reporting tools that support decision-making.Manage and develop a small team of analysts, setting clear expectations around deliverables, timelines, and analytical rigor.Required Qualifications:10+ years in finance or accountingStrong manufacturing experience (multi-plant or multi-entity preferred)ERP depth: SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar Major ERP softwareExperience with consolidations, financial modeling, and operational reportingPrior leadership of budgeting and forecasting cyclesCPA or MBA highly preferred but not requiredNext Steps:Select Quick Apply to have your resume reviewed within 24-48 hours of applying or shoot me a direct email with a resume attto set up a time to have a confidential discussion at oscar.pena@roberthalf.com
