This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of core financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping assistance, and telecom tax data management.This role bridges finance and operations — ideal for a detail-oriented, process-driven professional with strong data skills who can adapt to a wide variety of tasks and systems. The position reports to the CTO & CFO and collaborates closely with the company’s CPA firm(s).Key ResponsibilitiesTelecom Tax SupportPrepare, review, and reconcile telecom tax data from third-party billing softwareOrganize and submit accurate reports to the CFO for approval and assist with filingMaintain a master calendar of all tax filing deadlinesAccounts Payable (AP)Process vendor invoices and ensure approval workflows are followedManage payment schedules, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepanciesAccounts Receivable (AR)Track outstanding balances, send reminders, and maintain AR aging reportsCoordinate with sales and operations to resolve billing disputesBookkeeping & Operational FinanceSupport basic bookkeeping, expense tracking, and reconciliationsAssist with month-end close preparationData Management & ReportingCreate and maintain financial reports using Excel Build simple dashboards for operational and financial metricsGeneral Operational SupportAssist with a variety of administrative and operational tasks across departmentsSupport special projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiativesProvide backup coverage for other team members as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, data cleanup)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively across departments Comfortable working with multiple software platforms; quick learner with new toolsSoft SkillsDetail-Oriented: You double-check your work before it leaves your deskProcess-Driven: You thrive in structured workflows with clear deliverablesProactive: You take initiative when something needs attentionCollaborative: You communicate clearly and work well across teamsAdaptable: You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats as priorities shiftCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 annually (based on experience & education)Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurancePTO & Flexibility: Paid time off and hybrid work arrangements (after training)Growth: TELIN is growing rapidly, and high-performing team members can progress quickly into senior finance, operations, or tax compliance roles.
