Front desk Executive (Night shift)Job ObjectiveTo provide outstanding guest service during night hours by managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries with professionalism and accuracy while ensuring the security and smooth operation of the hotel front desk during the night shift. Roles and responsibilities Greet, check-in, and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring all procedures comply with hotel policies. Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using the hotel management software (PMS). Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints during the night shift. Handle night audit processes, including balancing accounts, billing, and preparing reports for management.
Monitor the hotel premises for security and safety during the night; coordinate with security and maintenance teams as needed. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth guest services. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, guest details, and night shift activities. Provide emergency assistance and follow hotel protocols for guest safety and security. Uphold the highest standards of guest confidentiality and data protection. Assist in training junior staff or new recruits as required. Required qualification Minimum High School Diploma; diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Front Office Management is preferred.
Proven experience (1–3 years) in a front desk or guest service role, preferably in hotels or resorts. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, MSI, or similar software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of Nepali and other languages is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and calmness under pressure, especially during night shifts. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
