Foreign Procurement Specialist (Junior)

Overseas Talent Match (OTM) is hiring a Foreign Procurement Specialist for one of its clients in Egypt. Position Overview:As a Foreign Procurement and Purchasing professional you will play a vital role in supporting the sourcing and procurement activities of raw materials, chemicals, and components needed for production. You will collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the supply chain team to ensure that sourcing activities are efficient, cost- effective, and meet the company’s quality and sustainability standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for raw materials and chemicals.Support the sourcing team in negotiating pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers.Help in the preparation and management of purchase orders, including tracking order status and ensuring on-timeLead sourcing team and coordinate with the global team to ensure smooth flow of shipments and buying process.Analyze supplier performance and assist in preparing reports on procurement activities, costs, andCollaborate with cross- functional teams (e.g., logistics, production, and quality control) to ensure timely procurement and smooth material flow.Assist in managing supplier relationships and communication to resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or price adjustments.Support the sourcing team in monitoring market trends and industry developments that may impact supply chain strategies.Help with creating and maintaining documentation related to sourcing contracts, purchase orders, and supplierContribute to the development of cost-reduction initiatives and sustainability strategies within sourcingAssist in implementing and optimizing sourcing processes to improve overall supply chain efficiency.Seek strategic partners and seek to grow and maintain our relationship.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.Fluency in English and Arabic (French would be great and make you stand out).Minimum of 1 year experience in import and export enterprise(s).Basic understanding of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies.Previous experience in foreign sourcing, or procurement.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Interest in sourcing, procurement, and the chemical industry.Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Job Details:Full time (On-site) Heliopolis, Cairo.Working Hours: from 9:00 AM till 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM | 1 hour breakSaturdays & Sundays are off - Fridays (Work from home)Social and Medical Insurance are provided.Salary Range: 10K - 15K (Based on experience) Apply now via Website or send your CV to: alaa.agrama@hirebyotm.com and mention the job title (Foreign Procurement Specialist) in the email subject.Join our community for more opportunities!: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JvFm5Jfukfy7rULjZjxLZk
