Parker Plastics, Inc. (“PPI”) is a privately-owned manufacturer of plastic bottles and containers. Founded in 1989, PPI has four custom blow molding plants located in Sand Springs, OK, Pleasant Prairie, WI, Hagerstown, MD, and North Las Vegas, NV. Parker Plastics is looking to hire a full-time Forklift Operator to join our growing company for our Sand Springs, Oklahoma plant.Why Parker? This position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:06 PM with occasional overtime as needed. This person is responsible for safely performing tasks and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job duties, while complying with all warehouse practices and procedures. Qualified candidates must have an excellent safety and clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, strong verbal and written communications skills, computer literacy, working knowledge of logistics, be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check. Primary Duties:Work with others in a positive and constructive mannerInspect all inbound and outbound shipments for damageEnsure all trailers inbound and outbound pass inspectionComplete required formsLoad and unload trailers in a safe timely mannerAssist in the preparation of shipping paperworkAssist in and complete daily, monthly, and yearly inventoriesAssist in training team membersAssist in putting up all night stockEnsure that manufactured products meet or exceed all quality requirementsMaintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards, policies, and proceduresFollow all safety procedures and policiesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent3 years’ warehousing experience preferredMust complete PPI’s Forklift Certification program within 90 days of employmentA demonstrated ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language.
