Samsung SDSA is seeking a results-driven and experienced professional to oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Support functions for Strategic Account Management Office. This role is crucial in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring alignment between financial planning, operational execution, and corporate objectives.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical expertise, and cross-functional communication skills to manage a small team and collaborate across departments including operations, sales, logistics, and IT.Our team is working onsite in regional Headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ.At Samsung SDSA, we lead innovation in IT services, logistics, and digital transformation across various industries. We enable our customers in government, financial services, healthcare, and other industries to drive business in a hyper-connected economy helping them to increase productivity, safeguard assets, and make smarter decisions.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and mid- to long-term financial plansAnalyze financial performance (P&L, cost centers, variance analysis) and develop actionable insights for senior leadershipManage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting packages in compliance with HQ and internal requirementsSupport corporate reporting to Samsung SDS HQ (Korea), including management commentary and strategic analysisBuild and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, investment opportunities, and ROI analysesBusiness Support & Strategic Finance:Partner with business unit leaders to support performance tracking, resource planning, and profitability analysisProvide financial insight into pricing, margin optimization, and cost control initiativesSupport internal business transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvement projectsLead or contribute to cross-functional projects Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit standardsLeadership & Team Management:Supervise and mentor a small team of analysts and coordinatorsSet team goals, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely and accurate deliverablesPromote professional development, knowledge sharing, and a collaborative team cultureLiaise between the finance department, HQ, and other internal stakeholders to align strategic goals and executionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysisStrong command of financial modeling, variance analysis, and forecasting techniquesDemonstrated experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization, preferably within technology, logistics, or manufacturingProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar)Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex data into clear business insightsStrong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and completenessMust be able to commute to the office based in Ridgefield Park, NJMust be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications:1+ years of team lead or people management experienceExperience in analyzing costs (e.g., unit economics, margin drivers) and translate findings into actionable recommendationsExperience working in multicultural fast-paced environmentExperience in the IT services industry (e.g., managed services, outsourcing, systems integration), with familiarity in common delivery and billing modelsBenefitsSamsung SDSA offers a comprehensive suite of programs to support our employees:Top-notch medical, dental, vision and prescription coverageWellness programParental leave401K match and savings planFlexible spending accountsLife insurancePaid HolidaysPaid Time offAdditional benefitsSamsung SDS America, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
