We are supporting our client in the search for a FP&A Team Leader, to join their newly created Global Shared Service Center in Gdańsk. This role combines hands-on financial planning & analysis with people leadership and close cooperation with senior stakeholders. You will lead a team of analysts, drive planning and reporting processes, and act as a key partner to global finance - working 4 days per week from the office in Gdańsk.Client DetailsOur client is a global, technology-driven financial services group that is building a large-scale SSC in Gdańsk. The center is in a dynamic growth phase, continuously refining its FP&A, reporting and performance management processes. The company values entrepreneurship, accountability and collaboration, and is intentional about developing its people, offering opportunities to grow capabilities in analytics, business partnering and leadership.DescriptionLead a team of FP&A analysts responsible for global planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.Coordinate parts of the global budgeting and forecasting cycles together with regional and functional finance teams.Build, maintain and enhance financial models to support business performance tracking and strategic initiatives.Analyze financial results, trends and variances, providing clear commentary and recommendations to senior management.Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly management reports, KPIs and performance dashboards.Support creation of executive-level presentations for global finance leadership.Translate complex financial data into actionable, business-oriented insights.Drive standardization and process improvements within the FP&A SSC, focusing on efficiency, consistency and quality of outputs.Collaborate with technology and operations teams to automate reporting, improve data integrity and enhance forecasting tools.Act as a business partner to global and regional finance teams on topics such as investment decisions, cost optimization and revenue growth.Provide analytical support for strategic projects, pricing initiatives and product / portfolio performance reviews.Set clear goals for the team, coach and mentor analysts, and actively develop advanced modeling and analytics skills within the team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and high performance.ProfileBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or similar analytical roles, including at least 3 years of team leadership/people management.Strong background in multinational environments and/or Shared Service Center / Center of Excellence structures is highly preferred.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; able to work comfortably with large data sets.Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan or similar).Hands-on experience with data visualization / BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, as well as key performance drivers in a fast-paced business.Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; ability to collaborate across time zones with global stakeholders.High analytical rigor, accuracy and attention to detail, combined with a proactive and curious mindset.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior partners.Leadership style focused on coaching, empowerment and building a collaborative, learning-oriented team culture.Job OfferAnnual bonus linked to company and individual performance.Life insurance.Private medical insurance with comprehensive coverage.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Unique opportunity to be one of the first employees in a new, large SSC in Gdańsk and directly shape FP&A processes and ways of working.Hybrid work model with 4 days per week from the modern Gdańsk office, ensuring close collaboration with your team and stakeholders.
