Freelance Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre Project (Carlow, Ireland)Location: Carlow, Ireland Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Project Type: Data Centre ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our team on a large-scale data centre project based in Carlow. This is a freelance position offering an excellent opportunity to work on one of Ireland’s most advanced and high-profile technology builds.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all electrical installation works on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and electrical teams to ensure efficient delivery of works.Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure all works are carried out in compliance with design intent.Liaise with the main contractor, design teams, and client representatives to maintain clear communication and smooth project progression.Drive quality assurance, safety compliance, and project performance targets.Report progress, manage site documentation, and resolve technical or coordination issues.Requirements:Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale industrial or data centre projects.Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, HV/LV distribution, containment, and commissioning.Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications (Degree, Diploma, or Trade background).Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Right to work in Ireland.
