Operations Manager | Renewables & Infrastructure | Ireland / EuropeVickerstock Recruitment are delighted to be working with a specialist civil and infrastructure contractor to recruit an Operations Manager to take a lead role in the delivery of renewable energy and data centre projects across Ireland and mainland Europe.This company has a proven track record delivering complex civil engineering projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors, including Battery Energy Storage (BESS), solar, and onshore wind developments across Ireland, along with large-scale data centre schemes in Sweden and Germany. With continued growth across these markets, they are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive performance and delivery across multiple projects.Your new role as Operations ManagerAs Operations Manager, you'll take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of projects - ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You'll act as the link between site operations and senior management, embedding structure, accountability, and consistency across the business.You will be responsible for:Managing operational delivery across renewable energy (BESS, solar, wind) and data centre projectsTaking ownership of assigned projects from mobilisation through to handoverEnsuring clear programmes, resourcing plans and progress tracking are in place for each siteLeading weekly project reviews focused on progress, risk, resourcing and cost controlSupporting Site Managers and Supervisors in planning, sequencing and client liaisonCollaborating with Commercial, Planning and H&S teams to protect margin, mitigate risk, and maintain high standardsOverseeing plant utilisation, logistics and maintenance coordinationProviding structured leadership and guidance to site teams, ensuring safety and productivity remain top prioritiesMaintaining robust reporting practices - progress dashboards, issue logs and operational KPIsWhat you'll need to succeedMinimum 7 years' experience managing civil, infrastructure, or renewable energy projectsProven record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budgeStrong leadership, communication and coordination skillsCommercially aware and confident managing budgets, variations and resourcingA hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environmentWillingness to travel across Ireland and Europe as requiredWhat's in it for you?If successful, you'll benefit from:Salary: €80,000 - €100,000, depending on experienceExposure to large-scale renewable energy and data centre projects across Ireland and EuropeA dynamic and growing contractor with a strong reputation for quality deliveryOpportunities to shape and strengthen operational performance across a multi-project portfolioComprehensive benefits package and ongoing development opportunitiesFor a confidential discussion or to find out more about this opportunity, please get in touch with Brian Mitchell at Vickerstock Recruitment
