This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to manage relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction.Duties And ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channelsCoordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channelsPrepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of ladingTrack and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipmentsManage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may ariseCollaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service deliveryEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade lawsAll other duties as assignedEducational Background / Work ExperiencePrior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferredExperience in air and ocean exports is highly desirableSkills & CompetenciesMathematical SkillsAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and ratesOther SkillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / ProcessesKnowledge of air and ocean freight logistics Understanding of trade laws and regulationsLanguage SkillsFluency in English is requiredKnowledge of additional languages is a plusComputer LiteracyProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with logistics software and systems is preferredFor this position, the expected base pay is: $16.25 - $22.00 / Hourly.
