The group you’ll be a part ofThe Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.The impact you’ll makeAs a Field Service Engineer at Lam, you will step into the limelight of customer support. Your work goes beyond installations and troubleshooting; it ensures the operational excellence of our complex semiconductor equipment. You're on the front lines, understanding customer needs and collaborating with various teams to deliver solutions with Big data Solution.In this role, you will directly contribute to the productivity improvement activity for the critical process and equipment in the customers location.About The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst with a strong background in semiconductor process and equipment engineering.This role focuses on improving productivity and process quality through advanced data analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Engage with customers to discuss and resolve productivity issuesAnalyze process equipment data using EI-DA solutions to find errors and enhance process qualityIdentify root causes through big data analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actionsCollaborate with AT/PG teams to deliver fast solutions and improve yield and productivitySupport successful deployment of P&D toolsStay up-to-date with new analytic models and solutions to enhance capabilitiesMinimum QualificationsWho we’re looking forB.S. or M.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Data ScienceProven expertise in etching processes and/or equipmentSolid understanding of statistics and machine learningMinimum 2+ years of experience in process and field equipment engineeringFluent in English (spoken and written)Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on approachPreferred QualificationsSemiconductor process and equipment engineering for productivity improvementBig data analysis using statistical and machine learning tools (R and/or Python preferred)Our commitmentWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
