Contribute to targets of BMW worldwide cost engineering. Position location: Shenyang Major responsibility:Analysis and knowledge building of local supplier, factor (labor, material, manufacturing process, interests, etc.), supplier development cost.Analysis of local supply chain / OEM / tier-1 & tier - n suppliers, concerning processes and technologies.Creation of a calculation based on our best practice approach for parts, machines or services.Cost calculation and negotiation support for local buyers on global-, local sourcing and cost down projects.Cost investigation of new technology or new product. Knowledge management for investigation results. Requirements:Bachelor and above degree / graduated in electrical / mechanical / automotive engineering or comparable educational background, economical backgroundTechnical understanding of products, processes and toolsSubstantial knowledge of major automotive component production processesCompetence of attending supplier evaluations and cost screeningsBusiness fluent Mandarin and English (German is an advantage)Project steering with regards to a defined timelineExperience in either cost engineering or technical development, software programming, production-, process planning, purchasing, quality managementExperience at global automotive suppliers, OEMs or in other Hi-Tech industryIntercultural experience and awarenessGood communication skills and teamwork spirit
