Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant located in Makati. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing budgets; and performing general bookkeeping. The individual will also assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with reporting requirements, and ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial activities. Qualifications Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly ExcelStrong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulationsExperience in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger managementAbility to prepare accurate tax returns and compliance reportsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesBachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plusExperience in the banking or financial services sector is an advantage
