General Manager, Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia

The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operation, including financial performance, operational controls, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction scores, and the development and retention of colleagues. The General Manager will build owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results.This role is based onsite in Kopaonik, Serbia at the Viceroy Kopaonik Resort.General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:· Leadership of the day-to-day operations during open winter season of Human Resources, Rooms, Engineering, Food and Beverage, Sales and Finance departments.· Develop the overall hotel strategy to maximize guest satisfaction, service standards, colleague satisfaction and financial performance.· Promote efficient operating procedures to provide a flawless guest experience; actively engage with guests from arrival to departure.· Maintain a high level of service in all areas to both our internal and external guests.· Directly supervise, develop, maintain and support individual performance and group dynamics of all Executive Committee members.· Resolve problems and communicate to ensure consistency and memorable guest service, and ensure strong, positive communication flow among colleagues.· Promote a positive work environment by ensuring the appropriate staffing levels are in place, the continuous training of colleagues, recognition, mentoring and coaching.· Analyze daily revenues, sales strategy, labor reports, guest satisfaction reviews, and monthly expenses to ensure execution of business plan, profitability and focus and attention of management team.· Manage hotel budget to control expenses and increase revenue.· Develop and maintain strong relationships/public relations with vendors, and hospitality competitors.· Ensure property compliance with legal, safety, operations, labor and Viceroy Hotel Group brand and service standards.Lead closure efforts for end of winter season and coordinate necessary support needed while resort is closed during off season (April through October)Qualification standards:· Previous experience as a General Manager with lifestyle experience preferred· Previous experience working in a ski resort or similar operation strongly preferred· Previous experience working with third party ownership groups· Ability to communicate in English required and Serbian preferredViceroy Hotel Group is a leading hotel company that combines desirable location, unique design, destination dining and personalized service that touches the heart and soul of our guests.
