We’re partnering with our global client, a leader in the building materials and hardware industry, to hire an International Senior Buyer – Commodity Panels.This is a strategic, high-impact role where you’ll lead international sourcing and procurement for panel and board products across Canada. You’ll manage supplier relationships worldwide — from Asia to South America — ensuring sharp pricing, reliable supply, and competitive market positioning.If you’re someone who thrives on negotiation, market analysis, and building long-term partnerships across borders — this opportunity was designed for you.What You’ll Be DoingLead international procurement of wood-based panels and board products (Asia, Brazil, North America).Negotiate pricing and contracts to maximize profitability and ensure supply stability.Analyze global market trends, cost drivers, and competitive pricing structures.Develop and strengthen supplier partnerships; identify new sources and materials.Collaborate with internal stakeholders in sales, operations, and product management.Recommend new products and sourcing strategies to improve margins and market agility.Report on sourcing performance, market intelligence, and profitability impact.What We’re Looking For10+ years of experience in international buying, procurement, or commodity sourcing, ideally within panels, wood products, or construction materials.Proven track record in price negotiation and supplier management at a global level.Strong market and financial insight — “sharp on price, sharp on the market.”Highly analytical, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently.Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.Based in British Columbia or open to relocation (national scope).Bilingual English/French is an asset.Compensation & PerksCompetitive Salary Annual Bonus: 25% (performance-based)Car Allowance: $1,000/monthFull benefits package, professional growth, and global exposure.Why JoinYou’ll be part of an organization that operates on a global scale, known for innovation, quality, and strong market reputation.This is a chance to own the sourcing strategy for one of the most important commodity categories in Canada — and make a measurable impact from day one.
