The On-Site Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring the successful administrative, financial, and operational aspects of three to four urgent cares through delivering a patient-centered experience that drives consumer loyalty and creating an environment where staff are engaged in the success of a facility.
EducationJOB REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferredWork Experience2-3 years of management experience or 5+ years clinical experience or 3+ years of GoHealthUC experience required Required Licenses/CertificationsValid State Driver’s License requiredAdditional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities RequiredKnowledge of medical insurance plans including managed care plansAbility to work independently, accurately, and efficientlyAbility to collaborate with others, delegate tasks, work as part of a team and communicate strongly with managementComfortable with constructive confrontation and counseling managementStrong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skillsAdditional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities PreferredHealthcare specific experienceEssential FunctionsOversee approximately 40 employees with P&L responsibilityMonitor NPS scores and put in place measures to address patient satisfaction issuesAccountable for the seamless scheduling of the front desk, scribes, medical assistants, and x-ray technician Monitor patient flow, and managing ongoing front and back-office operations closelySupervise, coach, evaluate, and mentor employees; conduct performance reviewCollaborate with HR team in developing and issuing performance reviews and terminating employeesHold staff meeting and training sessionsMaintain patient confidentiality in accordance with policy and procedure as well as HIPAA requirementsInspect facility on a daily basis for any structural, cosmetic, or operational repairsEnsure staff is working productively and professionally throughout all working hoursMaintain office and medical supplies for inventory/par levels; move supplies between sites as appropriateFacilitate the deployment of new testing technologies through in-servicing staffCoordinate with key vendors/departments including radiology and external call centersPerform HIPPA walk-throughs and inspectionsManage processes with external vendors including supply distributors and call centersTravel between assigned centers as neededAll other duties as assigned.
